Feathered Fox Den

Magpie Wolf won the poll and since my campaign is over 30k I've gone ahead and added him as a pledge option now!

Since snowy owl most likely won't be added to this campaign please feel free to follow my Instagram or facebook for updates on when I'll release it on my website instead!

And now for Coyote Pigeon pictures!!!! They made a few mistakes that are being fixed (chest should be cream fur, not brown, cream color on face should go all the way up to eyes, front legs should be thicker like the others they made?? Not sure what happened there. Tail all grey and I want the fur direction on the muzzle going towards the face not the nose). Annoying how much they missed on my references, but we will get it right in the end! I'm optimistic they'll have a fixed sample in 2 weeks.

I really like her body colors. The wing colors not as much, but they only had lighter greys or black so this is the closest we could find to pigeon colors. Let me know how you guys feel about her design! 

Also I've named her Aria after the musical term for a solo vocal piece. I love listening to the coyotes sing where I live so I thought the name was fitting! Her personality is vocal, gregarious, and witty ❤️

Oriole Fox sample arrived and she is STUNNING!

And we are almost at 30k funded! I am attaching a poll now for the next design.
There are only 2 options and this plush will be a large weighted plush like coyote pigeon (still waiting on sample pics, I'm so sorry! They are embroidering the wings now they've said)

I will be adding the next wolf plush as an option to pledge for or add on once funding gets to 30k 🥰 I'm confident my next goal can be reached and if not I would still honor all purchases of the weighted wolves (I can order such a small quantity that it shouldn't be an issue)

Snowy owl arrived today! I like it, but I'm not in love and changes need to be made.

All of these photos have been edited. The options are as follows

Sewn marking, spots on neck the same

The printed marking on the head caused print lines my manufacturer did not inform me of. I can see the marks on the cheek where they trimmed the fur. This is not acceptable to me so the marking either needs to be a separate piece of fabric sewn on or removed entirely.

The muzzle also needs to be a shorter fabric. It's too scruffy looking for me. 

Other than that I do not plan on any other changes. 

The next vote will be between whichever Snowy Owl version wins and Magpie Wolf as the next plush to unlock :)

Snowy owl prototype has shipped to me! He would be an option to unlock at the next funding goal. I was planning on a poll between him and Magpie Wolf for the next large weighted plush, BUT there is a hiccup in the spot printing process on the neck.

The printing process creates a line on the base of the neck that cannot be avoided. I have spoken with my manufacturer for solutions and the best one they have is to simply trim it after the plush are made. Due to things being not as perfect when mass produced I have asked them to leave the line and I would trim each one individually by hand with my feather scissors.

I would like to hear your opinions on this please! Is this something that would bother you or stop you from purchasing him if you otherwise like the design? Should I remove the spots entirely from his neck and just have his body be all white? I want to be transparent so people know exactly what they're purchasing.

Here are pics from the manufacturer. The last pic shows the line at the base of the neck. The left side the line is trimmed off, the right side it is not.

Believe me I have asked and asked about my options or other ways to do the spots. I have been working on this prototype since August 6th! Over 2 months. I really love him, but I want to make sure the public is happy with him too. And if not, he'll be my buddy because I don't think I could let this one go ❤️

His head marking is also printed. I'm not sure if I like it that way or if I would rather them use black fabric. I will have to feel it and see it in person to decide! He should be arriving in 2 weeks and I can get better pics of him then.

Blue Jay Fox won the most votes in the poll! His design is being sent to my manufacturer now so they can work on a prototype of him.

AND today they sent me finalized pics of Oriole fox! Waiting on a pic of the underside of wings, but here's the pics I have now






The more detail on the wings the thicker they are! So this guy's wings are pretty hefty compared to red fox. I really like him and hope you do too!
