Here are the new prototype pics I received today! The body is much better, but the head needs another round of edits. They added a neck by elongating his head which does not look right, lol. The neck should be part of the body pattern. I have high hopes for the 3rd round of edits. 




They fixed his paws which I'm so happy about! I am seeing if they could potentially embroider paw pads on the bottom of each paw... I think that could look really cool!

Plus I sent them some reference photos of other wolf plush heads to help!

And Tina has informed me that the place they got the noses for my foxes is shutting down so I had to pick a new nose. I selected nose number 2 because I like the nostrils better. Number 1 is closer to the original nose, but it looks too much like pig nostrils to me.
There have also been a couple minor fabric changes as well due to company closures. I figured I should update you all on that too :)

For those ordering Magpie wolf or Coyote pigeon please let me know how you feel about this prototype so far! I am not opposed to going back to the old manufacturer and reworking that one as well. I am also not opposed to doing an order from each manufacturer IF I can afford it since Tina will allow an MOQ of 50 for me. And the other manu I can order as few as 25. There would need to be an almost 50/50 split between the 2 versions for this to be possible.

BUT I need to hear people's thoughts and opinions. It's your money funding these so tell me what you think! I don't bite :)

Also if I go with Tina's wolves the future price for them on my website would have to be $150 at least. They cost me almost twice as much to have made! The price will remain $100 for Backerkit supporters here.

Hey everyone! I finally received pics of Coyote pigeon last night! To say I'm bummed is an understatement. For some reason Tina's company just made their fox pattern bigger for Coyote Pigeon. This is NOT what I wanted at all. I had sent them a Magpie Wolf to draft a pattern from. I'm not sure where the confusion came from unless they thought I just wanted Magpie Wolf to follow that pattern. I am clearing things up with them now to have a better sample made.

Here are edits I made to the images they sent. I also sent even more notes and references not pictured here! Wing color and tail tip color are being changed to match better. Ignore the fact that the eyes have no pupils, I forget to draw them all the time, lol




I also sent them a couple reference pics of Coyote pigeon from my old manufacturer.


Again, I love the body shape of the old prototypes, but the face is not good at all. I'm optimistic the next sample from Tina will be better. I'm kind of used to first samples being way off base. For reference here is the process of Magpie wolf being designed with my original manufacturer.

So it is a process and I wish I could make it go faster. Again, the plush they showed me is not what I want at all and I expect the next one to be closer to my references. I'm very confused how they got it so wrong. Hopefully I've cleared things up with the design more and will hear from Tina tonight.

In other news Feathered Fox Plush bulk production has been paid for and is starting! They have a tentative completion date in April. I'm certain I've ordered more than enough, thank you everyone for filling out the jot form survey I sent! 

I will update again when I have more news. It takes roughly 2 weeks for them to finish a prototype so I hope for good news by then ❤️

I appreciate everyone's trust and patience! I am stubborn and determined to get these plush perfect. 

Barn Owl and Violet Budgie have finally arrived! I am smitten with barn owl. He is exactly how I hoped he would be! His wings are perfect and I think his little face is darling. I know some people want the peak bigger or a darker border around his face, but this is how he is staying. It's exactly as I imagined him 🧡

His name is Cedar and his personality is Quiet, Intelligent, and Passive.

And here is Violet budgie! Her only changes will be her embroidered mouth moved up. It's really low compared to the other foxes and I think that's giving her muzzle a more chunky appearance. And her wings need to be moved back about an inch to match the others. 

Anyways, her name is Whimsy! And her personality is Playful, Imaginative, and Quirky 💜

I'm hoping for a coyote pigeon update either end of this week or early next week!

Hi everyone, it's me again! I'm so sorry for spamming your inbox ;.;

I have decided to make a survey using Jotform to gather preliminary counts for the fox plush.
This is NOT the official survey yet, but I would super appreciate as many responses as I can get. I need at least 400 people to respond. I think this is a nice compromise for the wolf people who aren't committed yet and for fox people to get their plush in a timely manner.

If you are getting a wolf or coyote plush PLEASE answer the survey anyways. There is a maybe answer and I will use that to gauge how many extras to buy of each design :)
