TINA WOLVES UPDATE, OPINIONS NEEDED
6 days ago – Fri, Apr 17, 2026 at 06:52:42 AM

Tina's Magpie wolf and coyote pigeon have had their pre-production samples completed.

First, I wanted to try switching their fabric on the legs, muzzle, and ears because the original fabric has random seams in it. See below
And it's the actual fabric, not my manufacturer doing it, she checked

BUT, I don't think I like the new fabric. It's not fuzzy enough? Here is what coyote pigeon looks like now

For reference, here she is before

The fabric seams/creases are annoying, but let me know if you guys want to overlook them, or go with the new fabric! No polls, I just want to hear opinions.
Also, I will ask Tina to make Aria's ears a little closer together on the new sample and on the manufactured ones.

Secondly! Leg length has been changed. Please scroll back up to view Aria's new leg length. And here is Nightfall's new look.

Here's nightfall before for reference. Look at those baby legs, haha!

So for me personally, I want to change Aria's short fabric back to the original, but keep Nightfall's new short fabric? What do you guys think?

As for the legs, I'm super happy and see no changes that need to be made! They look so much more proportionate now.

And I shared on Instagram, but here's an update on the foxes! These are pictures of the bulk product before they were finalized and shipped. They are set to arrive to me around the 1st or 2nd week of May

Thank you all for your support and help! I appreciate everyone so much. As always feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] or on Instagram @FeatheredFoxDen if you need any help or have questions.

EDIT TO ADD

Thanks to the tip Rebecca Vice has given it seems semi-possible to get the marks on the fur out on your own!
I used gentle low heat and a fine-tooth comb to work at all the spots I didn't like. It was hard to hold the comb and the dryer so while I used the dryer I used my finger nails to kind of dig gently and work at the fabric to get the fur standing up again. I also used the fine-tooth comb on its own and that works okay too! Gentle heat seams to help make it more pliable and will probably help the fur stay up after working it. I also did wet the fabric just a little bit in the problem areas. Just a teeny tiny bit to give me something to work with and to not overheat the hairs.

Still there, but very faint! I am not an expert at working with plush fabrics so I'm sure others could do better :)

Selling Magpie Wolf Prototype
about 1 month ago – Sat, Mar 21, 2026 at 05:53:40 PM

I forgot to add this to my last update, but I'm hoping to sell Tina's Magpie Wolf prototype to recoup some funds. I haven't 'clicked' with him so I'm offering him up to the public.

He is $500 and I'll cover shipping in the US. That is the price I originally paid for him. Not sure I can ship him to EU as he doesn't have CE certification (all my mass produced foxes and wolves will have certification). But I'm open to Canada.

His legs are a little stunted and short, lol. But he is incredibly soft, super large, and very well made. If you want to purchase him comment below. I will put everyone's name (if there's more than 1) who enters into a randomizer tomorrow night @7PM PST and then announce the winner. I think that's the most fair way if multiple people want him. Please only enter if you have the funds to do so.

If you win and already have Tina's Magpie wolf on your survey I can remove him for you and ship this guy ASAP 🩷

Thank you!

Fox finalized photos, Wolf update, and cards charging
about 1 month ago – Thu, Mar 19, 2026 at 07:35:05 PM

The foxes are almost all complete and will be shipping to me soon! Transit will take 30-40 days to reach me and then I will need to inspect them for quality. I expect shipping to backers will begin in May sometime.

Photos of all are below! These ARE the mass produced ones. Tina randomly selected 1 from each pile. Since these plush are mass produced there may be small defects, but I will do my best to select the best of the best for my backers. I will also be taking better pics of all of these guys when they arrive to me in May 🩷

Here are photos of Juniper, the red feathered fox. Imagine the fur brushed out of her eyes in the first pic, lol. I do have a video of her up on my Instagram too! Click here

Here is Nightshade, the Magpie fox! Her muzzle looks a bit thick, but she follows the same pattern as all the other so I imagine she just needs it squeezed to reshape it better, or the angle is just really unflattering.

Here is Rowan, the oriole fox

Here is Cobalt, the blue Jay fox. A video of him is also on my Instagram. Click here

Here is Cedar, the barn owl fox

And Whimsy, the violet budgie fox

Seven's coyote pigeon, Lyric, is in production. This is the finalized sample! I had them make the ears a little bigger :)

Seven's Magpie wolf, Nightstar, is almost finalized. They've fixed the muzzle and I'm just trying to get the ears right. The photo below is what I want them to look like. Once I'm happy with a sample they'll start production on him

Tina will start her coyote pigeon and magpie wolf once the foxes have shipped.
The only changes I made to them were longer legs for coyote and longer and wider legs for Magpie wolf. I'm hoping since there's fewer wolves production will go quicker.

I plan on locking orders somtime within the next 2 weeks and I'll  start charging cards too. I need the extra funds to help pay for Tina's wolves. They are so expensive and of course the majority of people wanted them. Here are the counts below if you're interested!

Seven's Coyote - 11
Seven's Wolf - 13
Tina's Coyote - 84
Seven's Wolf - 53

My preorder store will also be closing the end of March.

If you are still not comfortable/unsure on which plush you want you can wait to fill out your survey. As long as you don't fill it out I can't lock or charge your order. If you need me to reset your survey so it's unanswered I believe I can do that too!

Also, the fox hangtags are finished and shipping to me next week!

That's it for now! As always email me with any problems, questions, or concerns at [email protected]

Or message me @FeatheredFoxDen on Instagram

I am SO excited to start shipping these to backers ❤️

Surveys and Poll for future idea
2 months ago – Fri, Feb 20, 2026 at 03:07:50 PM

Hey everyone!

Surveys have been sent out. There is an issue with selecting which wolf you want. If you pledged for a wolf level the survey will let you select which version you want. If you purchased it as an add-on during the campaign it will NOT let you select which version you want. It is default selecting Tina's coyote and Seven's Magpie.

PLEASE double check your order and message me at [email protected] or comment below if you need to make any changes. I can switch wolves easily to the version you want with just a couple clicks :)

Campaign orders will not be locking until around the 2nd week of March. Cards will not be charged until around that time too! Preorder people have their orders locked already and those cards will be charged the 1st week of March.
If you are still undecided do not worry! Leave your survey unanswered until I have all finalized samples. That's totally fine!

And since I'm making this update I figured I'd throw in a question I've been thinking about for awhile now.

I am thinking of having small PVC toys or resin collectibles made of my feathered foxes. Something smaller, cheaper, and easier to collect than my plushies maybe.

I can't decide between plastic toys. Something similar to these, but foxes with wings obviously.

Or resin figures similar to these guys (photo looks slightly AI to me)

There are pros and cons to both.

PVC toys
Pros - cheaper and sturdier, kid friendly!
Cons - less detail maybe?

Resin figures
Pros - More detail, cleaner looking
Cons - Fragile and more expensive

These wouldn't be made anytime soon. Just some thoughts and something fun for me to research and search for quotes and decent manufactures. I'm leaning towards PVC toys because I have a 3 year old, but I also know I need to cater to my market so let me know what you guys think 🩷

All photos of wolves, Survey info, PREORDER PEOPLE

Here are photos of Tina's Magpie Wolf. This wolf is named NIGHTFALL. First photo is with fur on the face fluffed out and 2nd is fur smoothed down. Smoothed down makes the head look more proportionate, but I don't think I want to make his head smaller? But I would make his legs longer and thicker! He looks a little stunted to me. And I want the ear on the right to be pointy like the left one.

And for reference here is Seven's current prototype of NIGHTSTAR the Magpie Wolf. The ears are being made bigger and muzzle is being fixed. The nose faces up and not forward right now. The photos they sent me were very dark. Excuse the 2nd photo, they edited some pictures for me. I just asked for some pictures in good lighting and they sent me that. I do not approve of AI in any way.

And here are Tina's and Seven's next to each other! Please note, Seven's is a B grade manufactured one from my last batch. He's got the the wrong ears and some string showing on his muzzle plus the old nose. This is mainly for size comparison.

And here is Tina's coyote pigeon, ARIA. She is honestly so perfect! I just love her. Her front legs will be made just a smidgen longer. Like 1 inch is all she needs. It looks great now, but when I pick her up they just seem a bit short.

And here is Seven's coyote pigeon, LYRIC. His eyes are a bit sunken in so I had to really move the fur out of the way. Not sure if I should go for bigger eyes? I think they are the right size as is! Muzzle build is perfection. Ears could maybe be slightly bigger and taller, but I could just be being picky. I am SO happy with him overall!

And some side by side pics

-Sizes
Nightfall (Tina's Magpie) is 36 inches nose to tail tip.
Nightstar (Seven's Magpie) is 30 inches from nose to tail tip.
Aria (Tina's Coyote) is 34 inches from nose to tail tip.
Lyric (Seven's Coyote) is 30 inches from nose to tail tip.
-All will weigh 4.5 lbs.
-Fur wise, Tina's wolves have a thicker, longer fur that is luxuriously soft. Seven's fur is shorter, but still very soft like a rabbit.
-Both styles are floppy, but Seven's are definitely more floppy and cuddly.
-Tina's have firmer wings, ears, neck, and head. Seven's are completely squishable and soft. I have a video on my instagram for a more visual reference of the two versions!

Click here for Magpie Wolves Video

Click here for Coyote Pigeons Video

And here are their hang tag designs! They will have foil stamping like the fox ones (the front and the Bold text on the back). I am calling Seven's version the "Snuggle Series"

Surveys will be going out sometime this week!

You will be able to select either Tina's or Seven's version in your surveys.
If you are uncomfortable committing to any plush you are more than welcome to wait to fill out your survey. I will share finalized pics of all plush once I have them. There is no time limit. I've had people fill pin surveys months after I've fulfilled everyone's orders. All the wolf plush, however, will be limited. I will do my best to order extra, but Tina's are expensive so I won't be able to order many extras unless people plan on ordering more add-ons in the surveys.

PREORDER PEOPLE
If you ordered Magpie wolf or coyote pigeon from my preorder store I had to select a default variation. Magpie Wolf will be Seven's version. Coyote Pigeon will be Tina's. If you need to change this please email me at [email protected].

Wolves will not go into production until the end of February when I receive final pay in 4 payments. Production will begin in March probably and I expect them to take 30-60 days max to be finished. Plus another 30 days to come to me from overseas.

I am waiting for an update on the foxes from Tina still. I know they were trying to have Red fox, Magpie, Oriole, and Barn Owl finished before the Chinese new year which starts right about now. My guess is they will come back from break and finish them next month!
*EDIT* Tina expects to have all foxes finished and shipped by March 20th

PINS. I am reordering some of my feathered fox pins because inventory is low. I am having my current pin manu make the older designs (series 1) for me now: Sparrow, Kestrel, and Magpie. I am looking forward to them being a better quality. Slight color differences may be noted, but they will still remain true to my vision. They will also be 1-2mm bigger to match my series 2 better (Snowy, Crow, and Barn owl). Small things I don't think anyone will notice, but info to have if you want it!

SHIPPING. shipping prices have gone up slightly for US and Canada peeps, like $1-5. It's gone up roughly 5-20 dollars for Australia and Europe people depending on pledge level and country. I'm so sorry! Please note, even with this change I am covering some shipping expense out of pocket for Australia and Europe. Some prices should still be $15-20 more than I am charging, but I just can't  do that. If you have any issues or problems with this please reach out to me!

As always, any question please ask! I am here to help. My email is [email protected] or instagram is @featheredfoxden. Or you can comment below :)

And here are some photos of Tina's Magpie wolf next to the Magpie fox!
